Yoga For Hikers and Backpackers

Hiking into the backcountry for a few days of camping and exploring is one of my favorite things to do. 

And that's exactly what I was doing when I filmed this post-hike yoga class for you!

This class was filmed on day 2 of a 3-day backpacking trip in Idaho.

After a full day of hiking and two more full days ahead of me, I was CRAVING yoga.

Since I film all my yoga classes outdoors, I pack a yoga mat and lot of filming gear into the backcountry. It gets heavy. 

I mean REALLY heavy. 

I'm pretty sure there's no better time to do yoga. 

My hips have to carry all that extra weight, which is why this post hike yoga class really focuses on the hips! Trust me, it feels AMAZING after a hike. 

So after hitting the trails this Summer, make sure to try this yoga class for hikers and stretch through those sore tight muscles.
