This camping recipe is very easy to scale up and down, making it perfect for small or large groups of campers.
This idea was a request from my husband, Nick, on a recent camping trip. It soon became one of our favorite camping lunches.
If you’re looking for an easy, no-cook camping lunch, these Chicken Caesar wraps are for you.

Ingredients for Chicken Caesar Wraps:
Rotisserie Chicken
This is what makes this recipe no-cook and so easy at camp. Using a rotisserie chicken is one of my camping food hacks. It’s a great way to boost protein in a lot of different meals.
The day before my camping trip, I’ll go buy a rotisserie chicken, cut it up, and store it in the cooler at camp. From here, there are so many options.
You can use the chicken in wraps for lunch, like in this recipe. Or, you could add it to quesadillas for more protein. Add it to a Cobb Salad or make a chicken salad to serve with bread or crackers. Lots of options!
The rotisserie chicken is very flavorful. But if you want, you can use grilled chicken breast instead.
Caesar Dressing
Next up, you’re going to need Caesar salad dressing. You can make a Caesar dressing at home before your camping trip, or buy a pre-made dressing at the store.
I always make a homemade version because it’s so easy, and I can control the quality of ingredients. This Caesar dressing recipe is great, and you can omit the anchovy paste if you want. I have a hard time finding it, so I usually don’t put it in my dressing.
Flour Tortillas
I love the Vista Hermosa 10-inch flour tortillas made with avocado oil, not canola oil. These tortillas taste great and lack the junk found in Mission-brand tortillas. The burrito size works perfectly for these wraps. I typically buy them at Whole Foods.
Veggies
Lastly, we have lettuce, tomato, and avocado. These really enhance the wrap. Lettuce gives a nice crispy crunch. Tomatoes add color and sweetness. Avocado makes it creamy.
To simplify even more, just add some lettuce. But if you don’t mind slicing the tomato and avocado at camp, they’re worth it!

How to Make High-Protein Chicken Caesar Wraps:
When it comes to assembly at camp, all you need to do is layer everything onto the tortilla and roll it up!
Since the rotisserie chicken is already cooked and ready, this camping meal takes only minutes to prepare. I like to serve this with some chips or fruit.

Prefer a Chicken Caesar Salad?
You can easily make this into a Chicken Caesar Salad instead of a wrap. (This makes a great camping dinner too.)
Skip the tortilla and layer everything in a bowl of lettuce. Top with some croutons for a crunch! I love the rosemary croissant croutons from Trader Joe’s. They’re not healthy, but man, are they good!
